Lung Cancer Screening Coming to Darlington 

We’re pleased to announce that lung cancer screening will start in Darlington from Wednesday 27th August 2025 at Mowden Park Rugby Club (old Darlington stadium). The programme will run for around 6–7 months.

Who’s eligible?

• Aged 55 to 74
• Registered at a local GP practice
• Have a history of smoking

What happens?

Eligible patients will receive a letter from InHealth with more details.

Screening starts with a telephone lung health check.

If you’re at higher risk, you’ll be invited for a nurse appointment and a low-dose CT scan.
